The security deposit

Found a home but can’t pay the full security deposit at once? onlyrent is building a simple way to get a loan for your deposit from a regulated lender. If you qualify, you pay it back in monthly EMIs.
The problem

How it works
We’re starting with one thing: helping renters get a loan for their security deposit from a regulated lender. If you qualify, you repay the lender in monthly EMIs.
Step 1 of 4

Moving to a new city
Security deposit

Checked by a regulated lender
The lender decides if you qualify, not onlyrent.
Before you decide, you’ll see
See how a deposit loan works and what you need to qualify.
Fill in a guided application with your details.
A regulated lender checks whether you qualify and can afford to repay.
If approved, see the interest, fees and EMIs first. Accept only if it works for you, then repay the lender every month.
The lender decides who is approved, the loan terms and when the money is paid out. Joining the waitlist doesn’t start an application.

onlyrent is a new Indian fintech company. We're building a simple way for renters to get a loan for their security deposit from a regulated lender, and pay it back in monthly EMIs. We're starting with the deposit because it's often the hardest part of moving.
A lender gives you a loan to help pay your landlord's security deposit. You then pay the lender back every month, with interest and any fees. Like any loan, it's something you have to repay, so make sure you understand the total cost before you accept.
We don't have rates to share yet. Interest and fees will be set by the lender. If you're approved, you'll see the full cost before you accept.
We're starting with people renting in India, including young professionals, first-time renters, people moving for work and renters changing homes. The lender decides who qualifies.
No. onlyrent doesn't lend money. Any loan would come from a regulated lender, which decides who qualifies, how much interest you pay and the loan terms.
No. Joining only tells us you're interested and lets us keep you updated. It isn't a loan application and there's no credit check. Any loan will depend on lender availability, whether you qualify and the lender's terms.
We haven't set a launch date yet. People on the waitlist will hear first, as soon as we can confirm it.
We'll email you occasional updates about our progress and early access. When onlyrent is ready, you can choose whether to use it. There's no obligation, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
